Faces of Evelyn Layout

I got this comment from Stephanie as a result of not posting for a while:

"Ummmm...not a single post for August? Are you dead?"
Ha!

I realized that I had this layout ready to go before and just hadn't posted it.



Few other layouts in progress, but I've been tied up working on a quilt, as well as being busy at work. After the quilt though, I agreed to work on the growth chart ruler, then re-organize my craft space in the basement, then go back to scrapbooking projects.

Swift Kick in the Face

Car ride home last night:

Greg: Evelyn, do you want daddy or mommy to brush your teeth?
Me: No, don't give me as an option.
(I wanted Greg to do bedtime routine since I had a couple other things to take care of around the house)
Greg: Evelyn, do you want daddy to brush your teeth or do you want a swift kick to the face?
Evelyn: [gibberish] Face!

And laughter ensued.

Although Evie's overall communication skills are getting better, there are still times when it's apparent that she doesn't understand what's being asked of her . . .
