Quick post in between homework problems.
Buahahahaha. I like The Soup, for reasons like this clip from the show "Make Me a Supermodel." Greg and I laughed so hard.

A- is the new B
Classes started this week. I was kind of excited that I started new classes - Cost Accounting and Governmental & Not-for-profit Accounting - but that's quickly wearing off now that the harsh reality of school is kicking in.
At U of A, a plus/minus grading system hadn't been implemented, so 90% and above was an A and counted as a 4.0. My professors are grading on the plus/minus system, which means than an A-, with a GPA of 3.67, has just become the new B. Ouch. I'll need to try extra hard just to get my A.
My Governmental & Not-for-profit teacher also mentioned at the beginning of class that the intermediate financial accounting book was quite the "page turner" compared to our Governmental & Not-for-profit text. Hmmm. Double ouch.

Scrapbook-y Calendar
I saw this pretty calendar print paper at Recollections during Black Friday, so I bought it, along with a scrapbook frame from Michael's, to make a calendar:
I wanted something that I could stick reminders on to pay bills, as well as write on with dry erase markers. I gave Stephanie the same paper and frame, but I don't know if she went the same route or not. Maybe she'll blog about what she did with it . . .

Studio Inspiration
New year!
I get uber-inspired when I see pictures of scrapbookers' studios/work spaces:
I'm pretty happy with my work space, but it's child's play compared to what these people have. (Do you see how much product some of them have?!)
